Ground has been broken and we’re all anxiously awaiting the completion of this wonderful new club, which is scheduled for April of 2010. 

With Encanterra’s focus on healthy and responsible living, the new Athletic Club presents the Encanterra community with fitness and well being that surpasses the old workout of twenty minutes on the treadmill and a few laps in the pool. The focus is on growth in fitness. One of the most exciting features of the new athletic club is a virtual trainer. Your virtual trainer will be programmed by the on-staff professional trainers and using Smart Key technology, will track your progress and tell you what you need to do to “ramp it up”. It will even catch you if you try to cheat on a workout!

 If you’re wondering about the equipment that will be available for your fitness quest, it’s all state-of-the-art. Elliptical trainers, stationary bicycles, treadmills, free-weights and more will give you the workout you desire for a healthy body and a more relaxed and confident state of mind.

 

The Athletic Club at Encanterra offers even more than an excellent fitness opportunity. Classes are provided to work your body and your mind. Aerobics, Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, muscle toning and more are offered to small to medium sized groups for more individualized attention.

After your workout, retreat to the plush and private locker rooms for a moment in the whirlpool or steam room. What a way to complete an invigorating and healthy workout!
